Ekobot AB receives a first order for pilot installation from a customer in the Netherlands

Ekobot signs an agreement with an order value of approximately SEK 150,000 to a customer in the Netherlands for the delivery of robot systems for pilot installation during the 2022 cultivation season

Ekobot AB has entered into a first customer agreement for the installation of robot systems in the Netherlands. The agreement has been concluded with one of the Netherlands’ largest vegetable growers, Aardappelen V.O.F. The agreement refers to a pilot installation during the cultivation season 2022. The pilot installation takes place on commercial terms but on a limited cultivation area. The order value of approx. SEK 150,000 must be seen against the background of a pricing of approx. SEK 35,000 per hectare. This is completely in line with Ekobot’s previous assumptions, where an individual robot system is adapted for 10 hectares of cultivation per year.

Ekobot’s CEO Erik Jonuks comments on the agreement:
– We have worked strategically towards the Dutch market for a couple of years. We recently signed Letter of intent with a number of Dutch customers. It is extremely gratifying that our first commercial breakthrough is now taking place in the Dutch market. The agreement is also a clear proof that we have a well-functioning technology and it is proof that our assumptions regarding pricing towards customers are correct. I would like to take this opportunity to extend a special thank you to our sales organization which has created very good customer relations in the Dutch market, it bodes well for the future.
