Ekobot AB (Publ) announces today that it has signed a contract with a new customer in the Netherlands. The agreement concerns delivery of Ekobot’s robotic system WEAI – autonomous weeder. According to the agreement, the delivery must take place during the 2023 growing season and has an order value of approximately SEK 450,000.
Ekobot has today signed an agreement with a new Dutch customer. The customer runs a medium-sized, very well-kept farm with a focus on vegetable growing about 45 km east of Eindhoven. The customer has a clear ambition to convert their cultivation system to robotics, which makes this particular customer extra interesting in this context. The agreement concerns a delivery of the WEAI robot system. This is one of the company’s first customer contracts which means that the WEAI robot system must operate on the basis of fully commercial terms.
Ekobot’s CEO Erik Jonuks comments on the agreement
– With the agreement in place, I can state the following. We have really succeeded in making a breakthrough in the Dutch market, where there is currently a rapidly increasing customer need for robotics of the Ekobot type. I can also state that we have a fantastically competent team that has very meritoriously created a great deal of trust among the customers we meet. We look forward to delivering robotic systems to the Netherlands during the 2023 cultivation season.
