Ekobot receives a positive advance notice regarding support from the Swedish Board of Agriculture, through EIP-Agri

Ekobot AB (publ) (”Ekobot” or ”the company”) has received a positive advance notice regarding support from the Swedish Board of Agriculture. The support aims for Ekobot AB (publ) to carry out large-scale field tests and begin collecting field data during the 2022 growing season. The final amount of support has not yet been handled and or determined, but indicatively the scope of the support is approximately SEK 4.5 – 5.8 million

Via the Swedish Board of Agriculture’s administrator, Ekobot has received information that a first sample assessment regarding the granting of support has taken place. The information is a positive indication that Ekobot will be granted support from the Swedish Board of Agriculture in 2022.

The grant is handled by the Swedish Board of Agriculture and falls within the so-called European Innovation Partnership, EIP Agri. The support aims to increase the EU’s competitiveness and to contribute to sustainable food production. The final amount of support has not yet been handled and or determined, but indicatively the scope of the support is approximately SEK 4.5-5.8 million.

The advance notice is extremely gratifying and we have high hopes that the application will be granted in its entirety. With the support from the Swedish Board of Agriculture, we have very good conditions for carrying out the large-scale commercial field tests we plan for during the 2022 growing season, says Ekobot’s CEO, Erik Jonuks
