Ekobot has initiated a collaboration with Scanfil in Åtvidberg with the aim of starting an industrialization process of the company’s robot platform Ekobot Gen III.

Scanfil has a long and solid experience as a manufacturing partner and system supplier in an international market. Scanfil, like Ekobot, has a clear focus on sustainability, they have the potential to become our manufacturing partner in an international expansion for several years to come.

Scanfil has a long experience of supporting its customers during the product development phase. These collaborations lead to the products being well adapted to the upcoming series production from the very beginning. The company has developed a large number of different products in a wide range of technologies and market areas over the years. In recent years, many assignments have been performed with a focus on ”remote-controlled and also self-driving” applications.
Bertil Alm, sales manager at Scanfil comments on the collaboration with Ekobot:
– For Scanfil, it is very positive to be able to support Ekobot during the development phase of companies and products. During this phase, Scanfil can really add value for Ekobot, I believe. This collaboration also creates a good platform for continued collaboration where Scanfil’s global factory network can provide Ekobot and enable rapid expansion, when market needs increase.
For Ekobot, collaboration is an important part of future development. The market for field robots in agriculture is growing extremely fast and as a small technology company like Ekobot, it is extremely important to be able to quickly scale up sales and manufacturing to meet market needs.
